SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any changes
made by this Act in Section 51 of Article 40 shall be
superceded by any changes in that provision of law made by
Chapter of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1982
(House Bill Number 754).

SECTION 3. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

State Scholarships - Family Practice Residency Program

FOR the purpose of terminating the State scholarship program
for family practice residents.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

[18-803.

(a) (1) In this section the following words have the
meanings indicated.

(2) "Family practice" means the medical
specialty of a personal physician who:

(i) Serves as the first medical contact
for a patient;

(ii) Provides a means of entering the
health care system; and
