AN ACT concerning

County Commissioners - Conflict of Interests
and Express Powers

FOR the purpose of excluding certain county commissioners
from certain conflict of interest laws, if those county
commissioners have enacted certain local codes of

ethics; providing the county commissioners of each

county with the express powers to enact certain laws or

regulations on conflicts of interest involving county

officers or employees and on the performance of public
duties by such officers and employees; and generally
relating to the powers of county commissioners.

PREVENT CONFLICTS BETWEEN THE PRIVATE INTERESTS AND PUBLIC
DUTIES OF ANY COUNTY OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES, INCLUDING THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AND TO GOVERN THE CONDUCT AND ACTIONS
OF ALL SUCH COUNTY OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE PERFORMANCE
