SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

155.

(w) In Worcester County, the [chairman] MEMBERS of the
board of license commissioners [will] SHALL receive [as
compensation, the sum of $2,500 per year. Each of the other
two members shall receive as compensation the sum of $2,100
per year.] AN ANNUAL SALARY AS DETERMINED BY THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS BUT NO LESS THAN:

(1)  CHAIRMAN---$2,500 PER YEAR;

(2)  EACH MEMBER---$2,100 PER YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any salary
increase after July 1, 1982 made pursuant to the power
vested in the Worcester County Commissioners by this Act may
not apply to the chairman and board members in office on the
date on which the salary increase took effect, but shall
take effect at the beginning of the nest following term of
office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
