PARAGRAPH (2) for the calendar year [immeidately]
IMMEDIATELY preceding each such year in office.
[(c) (1)] (4) (I) Each applicant for appointment as
commissioner of the Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission from Montgomery County shall file with
the Montgomery County Council and the chief administrative
officer of Montgomery County, no later than five days prior
to the initial date set for interview by the Council, the
statement set forth in [subsection (a)] PARAGRAPH (2), for
the 12-month period ending 60 days before the date initially
set for the interview. Each applicant for appointment as
commissioner of the Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission from Prince George's County shall file
with the Prince George's County Council and the chief
administrative officer of Prince George's County, no later
than five days prior to the initial date set for
confirmation hearing by the Council, the statement set forth
in [subsection (a)] PARAGRAPH (2), for the 12-month period
ending 60 days before the date initially set for the
interview.
[(2)] (II) Each applicant for appointment as a
commissioner of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
shall file with the county council and the chief
administrative officer of the county from which he seeks
appointment, no later than five days prior to the interview
required by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Code as
amended, the statement set forth in [subsection (a)]
PARAGRAPH (2) for the 12-month period ending 60 days before
the date initially set for the interview.
[(3)] (III) A member may not be appointed to the
Washington Suburban Transit Commission from Montgomery
County or Prince George's County unless, ten days prior to
his appointment, he has filed with the county council and
the chief administrative officer of the county from which
the appointment will be made the statement set forth in
[subsection (a)] PARAGRAPH (2) for a 12-month period ending
not more than 60 days before the statement is filed,
[(4)] (IV) If any person who has filed a
statement pursuant to this [subsection (c)] PARAGRAPH is not
appointed, the appropriate county council and chief
administrative officer shall return to that person his
statement and all copies thereof within 15 days after the
date on which the appointment or appointments to the
Commission have become final. The statement of any
applicant approved for appointment shall be forwarded by the
chief administrative officer of the county involved to the
State Ethics Commission and to the executive director of the
commission to which the applicant has been appointed.
[(d)] (5) Any commissioner of the Washington Suburban
Transit Commission appointed from Montgomery County or
