fee is $5. In Wicomico County, an application for renewal
of a restaurant license is subject to requirements specified
in Section 19(x), as amended from time to time.

(2) IN HOWARD COUNTY, FAILURE TO FILE RENEWAL
APPLICATIONS FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSES BY APRIL 1 OF
EACH YEAR SHALL RESULT IN NONRENEWAL OF THE LICENSE OR A
PENALTY OF $50 PER DAY FOR EACH DAY THE APPLICATION IS LATE.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

Product Liability - Sealed Container Defense

FOR the purpose of providing a defense that can be raised to
certain actions by certain product sellers who could
not reasonably be expected to know of defects in the
products; providing for certain exceptions; providing
for the entry of summary judgment or the reinstatement
of certain actions under certain circumstances;
defining terms; and generally relating to the
nonliability of the sellers of products.
