(3)  Apprentice well driller license $ 5; and

(4)  Restricted licenses                                   $25.

(c) Before the license expires, the licensee
periodically may renew it for an additional 1-year term if
the licensee:

(2) Pays to the Board [the required] A renewal
fee OF $25[; and], EXCEPT THAT A MASTER WELL DRILLER SHALL
PAY A RENEWAL FEE OF $50 AND AN APPRENTICE WELL DRILLER
SHALL PAY A RENEWAL FEE OF $5; AND

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That it is the
intent of the General Assembly in enacting the fees as
provided for in Section 1 of this Act that the additional
funds provided by the increase in fees shall be utilized to
provide an increased level of funds primarily to fully
defray budgetary requirements of the respective board or
commission which collects the fees, and secondarily, to
provide a proportionate increase in funds to defray the
expenses of support services provided by the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene to the board or commission which
collects the fees. Any surplus funds, after the aforegoing
appropriation requirements have been fully met, shall be
used to defray the deficit budgetary requirements of the
other boards and commissions.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Fire Fighters, Rescue Squad Members, and Paramedics -
Criminal Record Check

FOR the purpose of allowing criminal record checks on
applicants for a volunteer or paid fire fighter, rescue
squad member, or paramedic position; providing that
these applicants upon request provide a set of
fingerprints to certain State authorities; providing
that information regarding criminal convictions may be
