(5)  Of the Baltimore County share of the State
basic current expense, Baltimore County shall pay to Lida
Lee Tall School of Towson State University the percentage of
the State basic current expense obtained by dividing the
number of students in Lida Lee Tall School by the total
number of students enrolled in Baltimore County and the
Lida Lee Tall School.

(6)   In fiscal year [1982] 1983, the current
expense aid received by a county or Baltimore City under

this subsection shall be no less than the current expense
aid received under this subsection in fiscal year [1981]
1982 IN ADDITION TO THE CURRENT EXPENSE AID RECEIVED UNDER
THIS SUBSECTION, BALTIMORE COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE $79,518 AND
WORCESTER COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE $57,668.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

CHAPTER 807

(Senate Bill 588)

AN ACT concerning

State Police - Incorporated Municipalities

FOR the purpose of permitting police employees of the State
Police to act within the limits of any incorporated
municipality in order to protect the safety of the
public and property when a crime is committed in the
presence of the police employee; and providing that the
arrested party shall be immediately transferred to the
custody of the local law enforcement agency; and making
an exception to the authority of State Police employees
to enforce motor vehicle laws; and permitting police
employees of the State Police to act within the limits
of Baltimore City only when enforcing Title 23 of the
Vehicle Laws of the State.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Article 88B - State Police

Section 2(d) and 4(a) and (d)
