Ch. 770
(a) An individual employed as a teacher, principal,
director of education, or supervisor of vocational education
on the staffs of the following institutions or in the
following programs shall be paid an annual salary of not
less than the salary received by a public school teacher of
similar training and experience in the county where the
institution is located:
(1) Boys' Village of Maryland;
(2) Maryland Training School for Boys;
(3) Montrose School [for Girls];
[(4) Maryland Children's Center;]
(4) [(5)] Victor Cullen School;
(5) [(6)] Any other institution that is under
the jurisdiction of the Department of Human Resources or the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; and
(6) [(7)] Any vocational rehabilitation
programs of the STATE Department of Education, the Division
of Correction of the Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services, or the Patuxent Institution.

(a) If a student seeks information to overcome any
form of drug abuse, as defined in [Article 43B, § 2(d) of
the Code] § 9-101 OF THE HEALTH - GENERAL ARTICLE, from a
teacher, counselor, principal, or other professional
educator employed by an educational institution that has
received a certificate of approval under § 2-206 of this
article, a statement, whether oral or written, made by the
student or an observation or conclusion derived from the
statement is not admissible against the student in any
proceeding.

(b) Before it registers any organization or agency,
the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation shall inspect the
sheltered workshop facilities to determine if:
(3) The facilities meet the standards for
sheltered workshops accepted by the Rehabilitation Services
Administration of the federal Department of [Health,]
Education[, and Welfare].
