HARRY HUGHES, Governor

4217

In the introductory clause of subsection (c) of
this section, the phrase "may recover the
expenses ... in caring for the patient" is
substituted for the phrase "shall be deemed to be
a debt due from such patient ... and may be
recovered from him", for clarity and brevity.

In subsection (c)(2) of this section, the term
"or reception center" is added to conform with
the balance of the subsection.

The only other changes are in style.

In addition to the authority granted by this
section, see Article 25A, § 5 and Article 25B, §
13 of the Code and Article 2, § 12 of the
Baltimore City Code.

[556G.] 253.

subdivision of the State may accept a valid credit card as
payment for bills.
