(3) The provisions of this section shall not be
applicable to well drillers who install pumps in connection
with the drilling of wells nor to persons in the business of
installing and repairing water pumps all of whom were in
business on April 1, 1963.

Notwithstanding the provision of [§ 2 of this article]

TITLE 10 OF THE HEALTH - ENVIRONMENTAL ARTICLE ARTICLE 43, §

2 concerning the rules and regulations governing the
character and location of plumbing systems and the
installation, operation and maintenance of such systems, the
provisions of this subtitle on plumbing (with the exception
of those provisions relating to the examination and
licensing of persons desiring to work at the plumbing
business by the State Board of Commissioners of Practical
Plumbing), shall not apply to Anne Arundel County provided
that prior to October 1, 1968, the County Council of said
county, after a public hearing, adopts for its plumbing code
the seventh draft of the proposed revision of the State
Plumbing Code drafted by the committee on revision of the
Maryland State Plumbing Code, with such amendments as may be
adopted from time to time.

The following persons are not required to be registered
as architects in accordance with the provisions of this
subtitle.

(1)  Professional engineers licensed by the
Maryland State Board of Registration for Professional
Engineers and Land Surveyors who perform architectural
services which are purely incidental to the practice of
engineering and not in conflict with the basic definition of
the practice of architecture in [§ 516 (e)] § 464(E) OF THIS
SUBTITLE; but no such engineer shall use the designation
"architect" unless licensed in accordance with the
provisions of this subtitle.

(2)  Professional landscape architects registered
by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Landscape
Architects who perform architectural services which are
purely incidental to the practice of landscape architecture
and not in conflict with the basic definition of
architecture in [§ 516 (e)] § 464(E) OF THIS SUBTITLE; but
no such persons shall use the designation "architect" unless
licensed in accordance with the provisions of this subtitle.

(3)  Real estate brokers, dealers a d agents in
making of the appraisals of properties and the selection of
sites, but no such person shall use the designation
"architect" unless licensed in accordance with the
provisions of this subtitle.
