[(c)] Repealed by Acts 1970, Ch. 589.
[(d)] (C) As to any bonds issued under the provisions
of this section for the purpose of providing funds for the
construction, remodelling, enlargement or replacement of any
office or operating building or buildings, the [commission]
WSSC shall annually determine the amount necessary to meet
the principal and interest requirements of such bonds, and
shall set aside annually for such purpose so much of the
receipts from water service charges, sewer usage charges,
house connection charges and any other charges imposed by
the [commission] WSSC as the [commission] WSSC shall
determine to be fair and equitable to be so set aside, and
the amounts of such receipts so set aside shall be deducted
from the amount which the [commission] WSSC has determined
to be necessary to be raised by direct taxation under the
provisions of section 6 of chapter 122 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1918, as amended, § [4-5] 4-105 of this
[article] TITLE, upon certification to the county council of
Montgomery County and the [county commissioners] COUNTY
COUNCIL of Prince George's County.
[(e)] (D) The county executive of Montgomery County or
the [board of county commissioners] COUNTY COUNCIL OR COUNTY
EXECUTIVE of Prince George's County may at any time in
person or by either of their duly authorized agents, audit
and examine the books and records of the [commission] WSSC;
provided, however, that such audit or examination shall be
without cost to the [commission] WSSC.
[4-2] 4-102. Mutilated, lost, or destroyed bonds.
(A) In case any bond heretofore or hereafter issued by
the [Washington Suburban Sanitary District] SANITARY
DISTRICT, or by the [Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission] WSSC, the governing body of the SANITARY
district, shall have become mutilated or shall have been
destroyed or lost, the [commission] WSSC may provide for the
execution and delivery to the holder or registered owner
thereof of a new bond of like date, number, maturity and
tenor in exchange and substitution for and upon the
cancellation of the mutilated bond and its interest coupons,
if any, or in lieu of and in substitution for the bond and
its coupons, if any, destroyed or lost, upon such conditions
as to evidence of ownership, the destruction or loss of such
bond, indemnity and payment of charges in connection with
such exchange or substitution as the [commission] WSSC shall
determine.
(B) If such mutilated or destroyed or lost bond shall
have been guaranteed as to payment of principal and interest
by [the county commissioners of] Montgomery and Prince
George's counties, there shall be endorsed on the new bonds
issued in substitution for such mutilated or destroyed or
