northeasterly boundary line of the present district; thence
along the extension in a northwesterly direction to the
eastmost corner of the present district; thence along the
southeasterly and westerly lines of the district as
extended by section 19-18, to a point where the dividing
line between the lands of Harold Ward and the property now
occupied by Edgar M. Douglas intersects the present existing
corporate limit line; thence in a southerly direction 340
feet more or less running with the dividing line to a point
on the northerly side of Diamond Ave.; thence running with
the northerly side of the public road easterly 270 feet more
or less to a point where the easterly side of Chestnut St.
intersects the public road; thence running with the
northerly side of the public road easterly 280 feet more or
less to a point where the public road intersects the present
existing corporate limit line; thence running southeasterly
with the present existing corporate limit line to the point
of beginning.

The area of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
and the jurisdiction of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission, its duties, authority and powers are hereby
extended to include the additional territory within the
following designated and described boundaries: Beginning for
the same at a point on the existing boundary of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary District east of, at right
angles to and 200 feet distant from the east side of St.
Barnabas Church Road at Phelps Corner and running thence in
a generally southwesterly direction east of, parallel to and
200 feet distant from the east side of St. Barnabas Church
Road approximately 4600 feet to a point opposite the
intersection of St. Barnabas Church Road with Maryland State
Route 224 (Livingston Road), thence continuing in a
generally southwesterly direction east of, parallel to and
200 feet distant from the east side of Maryland State Route
224 approximately 5800 feet to a point opposite the curve in
Route 224 where Route 224 bears west to intersect the Indian
Head Freeway, thence continuing in a generally southwesterly
direction with the projection of the last described line to
intersect a line projected through the south corner of the
District of Columbia and the intersection of Maryland State
Route 414 with the public road running between Route 414 and
Route 224 the public road running in an east-west direction
and being approximately 300 feet south of the intersection
of Route 224 with the Indian Head Freeway, thence in a
straight line to the south corner of the District of
Columbia, thence in a northeasterly direction with the
boundary between Maryland and the District of Columbia to
intersect the existing boundary of the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District, thence in a generally easterly direction
with the existing boundary of the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District to the point of beginning.
