(D) (1) EXPENDITURES UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL BE MADE
IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY APPROPRIATION PROVIDED FOR IN ANY
APPLICABLE BUDGET BILL OR SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION BILL.

(2) HOWEVER, AN APPROPRIATION PROPOSED TO BE
MADE TO THE AUTHORITY OR PROPOSED TO BE MADE FOR ANY
DESIGNATED TRANSPORTATION ACTIVITY, FUNCTION, OR UNDERTAKING
OF THE AUTHORITY, THAT HAS BEEN REDUCED BY THE GENERAL
ASSEMBLY MAY NOT BE RESTORED, FOR THE SAME PURPOSE AS
ORIGINALLY PROPOSED, BY THE BUDGET AMENDMENT PROCEDURE OF
ARTICLE 15A, § 8(E) OF THE CODE, UNLESS THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

IN STRIKING OR REDUCING THE APPROPRIATION, EXPRESSLY

AUTHORIZED ITS RESTORATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF ARTICLE 15A, § 8(E) OF THE CODE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
