GROUPS OF municipalities, OR GROUPS OF COUNTY BOARDS OF
EDUCATION as prescribed by rules and regulations of the
Commission.

(iv) The Workmen's Compensation

Commission shall develop rules and regulations prescribing
requirements and procedures for groups of counties [or],
GROUPS OF municipalities, OR GROUPS OF COUNTY BOARDS OF

EDUCATION seeking to establish joint self-insurance

coverage.

(v) A group of counties [or], A
GROUP OF municipalities, OR A GROUP OF COUNTY BOARDS OF
EDUCATION may not be self-insured without first receiving a
certificate of authority to do business issued by the
Workmen's Compensation Commission.

(vi) For the purposes of workmen's
compensation, self-insurers and groups of counties [or],
GROUPS OF municipalities, OR GROUPS OF COUNTY BOARDS OF
EDUCATION which are self-insured pursuant to this paragraph
are not subject to the provisions of Article 48A of the
Code.

(3)(a) (VII) FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS

SUBSECTION, WITH THE APPROVAL OF ITS COUNTY GOVERNING BODY A
COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION SHALL BE CONSIDERED A COUNTY OR
MUNICIPALITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

(House Bill 1351)

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages - Board of
License Commissioners - Administrator and Attorney

PG 309-82

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the Administrator
of the Prince George's County Board of License

Commissioners by providing that the salary is

equivalent to a certain grade level at a step level to

be determined by the Board after a performance

evaluation; and providing that the Board's attorney be
appointed by, and serve at the will of, the Board.
