(6) ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED BY THE
STATE'S ATTORNEY MAY BE SIGNED BY THE DEPUTY STATE'S
ATTORNEY OR ANY ASSISTANT STATE'S ATTORNEY DESIGNATED BY THE
STATE'S ATTORNEY THE DEPUTY STATE'S ATTORNEYS AND ASSISTANT
STATE'S ATTORNEYS SHALL PERFORM ANY WORK DIRECTED BY THE
STATE'S ATTORNEY OR AUTHORIZED BY LAW AND, UNDER THE STATE'S
ATTORNEY'S DIRECTION, MAY PRESENT CASES TO THE GRAND JURY,
SIGN INDICTMENTS AND CRIMINAL INFORMATIONS, AND PERFORM
OTHER ACTS AND DUTIES RELATING TO THE GRAND JURY AND THE
OPERATION OF THE OFFICE OF THE STATE'S ATTORNEY AS ARE
NECESSARY AND PROPER.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning
Board of Public Works -
Reimbursement of Debt by City of Crisfield
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of Public Works to
waive the reimbursement by the City of Crisfield of
certain engineering work performed by the Maryland Port
Authority in connection with a proposed maritime
industrial park project located at Crisfield; and
providing for the details of this power.
Preamble
WHEREAS, In 1966 the City of Crisfield entered into an
agreement with the Maryland Port Authority regarding the
development of a maritime industrial park at Crisfield; and
WHEREAS, At that time it was anticipated that certain
federal grant and loan moneys would become available for the
construction of the project; and
WHEREAS, To encourage the development of the project,
the City of Crisfield contracted with the Maryland Port
Authority for the performance of engineering work
preliminary to construction of the project; and
