(II)  THE SIGNIFICANCE OF TREATING
SCOLIOSIS AT AN EARLY STAGE; AND

AFTER DIAGNOSIS.

(III) SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR TREATMENT

(D)  A STUDENT WHOSE PARENT OR GUARDIAN OBJECTS IN
WRITING TO THE SCREENING MAY NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE SCREENED.

(E)  A PERSON WHO PERFORMS ANY SCREENING REQUIRED BY
THIS SECTION IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CIVIL DAMAGES RESULTING
FROM ACTS OR OMISSIONS IN THE SCREENING NOT AMOUNTING TO
GROSS NEGLIGENCE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Garrett County - Property Tax Credit - Grantsville
Volunteer Fire Department

FOR the purpose of allowing a credit from certain property
taxes in Garrett County for the Grantsville Volunteer
Fire Department if the property is used exclusively for

the purposes of that organization the County

Commissioners of Garrett County to grant a credit
against certain local taxation to the Grantsville
Volunteer Fire Department for certain property leased
by, used exclusively for the purposes of, and occupied
by the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department;
clarifying language; and generally relating to allowing
the County Commissioners of Garrett County to grant a
property tax credit for certain property in Garrett
County.
