Ch. 669

Such transfer or assignment when made shall be endorsed upon
the license by the official issuing the same, upon payment
of a fee of $1 in addition to the costs of publication and
notice, which shall be paid at the time of the filing of the
application for the transfer or sale. This section shall
permit the transfer of location and the assignment of
license in the same application.

(d) (1) Wicomico County the publication notice
referred to in this section may, in the discretion of the
board of license commissioners, be waived with respect to
Class C club licenses when a person whose name appears on
[such] THE license becomes ineligible, provided a new
application for the same class of license is properly filed
with [said] THE board within [ten (10)] 10 days of the date
on which [such] THE person becomes ineligible.

(2) THE FEE FOR TRANSFER OR ASSIGNMENT OF A
LICENSE IS $75 IN ADDITION TO THE COST OF PUBLICATION,
NOTICE, AND ANY HEARING FEES REQUIRED.

(E) (1) IN WICOMICO COUNTY, IF THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS DETERMINES THAT A LICENSED PREMISE IS
SEASONALLY OPERATED, THE BOARD MAY AUTHORIZE THE CLOSING OF
THE PREMISES FOR NO MORE THAN 6 MONTHS.

(2) TO QUALIFY FOR THIS EXCEPTION, THE LICENSEE
SHALL SUBMIT A WRITTEN REQUEST TO THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE THE ANTICIPATED DATE
OF CLOSING.

85.

(d) (1) The hours during which the privileges
conferred by a Class D beer, wine and liquor license may be
exercised shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock
midnight.

(2)  In Baltimore City the hours shall be from 6
o'clock a.m. to 1 o'clock a.m.

(3)  In Caroline County the hours shall be from 6
a.m. Monday through Saturday until 1 a.m. the following day
(including Sunday). In Baltimore and Kent counties the hours
shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 2 o'clock a.m.

(4)  In Howard County the hours shall be from 6
o'clock a.m. to 1 o'clock a.m.

(5)  In Somerset County the hours shall be from 6
a.m. to 1 a.m. on the following day.
