If an insurer makes no such election, the operative date of
this section for such insurer shall be April thirtieth,
nineteen hundred and forty-nine, provided, however, the
Commissioner may, in his discretion, if circumstances would
seem to warrant, extend the operative date of this section
with respect to any such insurer, for a further period, but
in no case beyond January first, nineteen hundred and fifty.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Boards of Supervisors of
Elections - Appointments to Vacancies

FOR the purpose of providing that substitute members on
boards of supervisors of elections shall serve in a
certain manner under certain circumstances; providing
that certain substitute members shall have certain
duties and shall serve on the boards of supervisors of
elections in the event certain members are
incapacitated; providing that certain substitute
members shall attend certain meetings and shall be
appointed and compensated in a certain manner; and
generally relating to substitute members of boards of
supervisors of elections in this State.
