AN ACT concerning

Energy Conservation - Building Standards -
Liability of Corporate Officers

FOR the purpose of repealing altering certain provisions of
lav that permit certain persons to bring against
officers of corporations action for certain damages
relating to violations of the Energy Conservation
Building Standards Act; making stylistic changes; and
redefining a certain term.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

54-I.

(a) (1) In this section the following words have the
meanings indicated.

(2) "BOCA energy code" means the basic energy
conservation code published in a new edition once every 3
years by the Building Officials and Code Administrators
International Incorporated OR ITS EQUIVALENT, AS APPROVED BY
THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
