reestablished, reconstituted with changes, repealed or
allowed to terminate.
SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1982; except that the changes
made by this Act in Section 56 of Article 101 shall take
effect June 1, 1983, and the repeal by this Act of Sections
28 and 29 of Article 101 shall also take effect June 1,
1983.

AN ACT concerning
Emergency Medical Services
FOR the purpose of allowing the State Board of Medical
Examiners and the Commission on Medical Discipline of
Maryland to adopt rules and regulations to permit
cardiac rescue technicians , and aviation trauma
technicians, and emergency medical
technicians paramedics to perform certain acts without
a license to practice medicine under certain
conditions; redefining the term "cardiac rescue
technician" for the, purpose of including certain
out-of-state cardiac rescue technicians in the
exemption from a license to practice medicine; and
generally relating to the power of the State Board of
Medical Examiners and the Commission on Medical
Discipline of Maryland to exempt certain persons from
the license requirements of the Maryland Medical
Practice Act.
