plans and specifications for expansion
of the Maryland Institute for Emergency
Medical Services Systems to a maximum
capacity of 138 beds. This
appropriation is contingent upon the
development of a program by the
University of Maryland making full
utilization of existing facilities at
the University of Maryland Hospital and
other hospitals. The facility will be
used exclusively for Maryland Institute
for Emergency Medical Services Systems.
All principal and interest on this
amount will be repaid to the State
Treasury by the Maryland Institute for
Emergency Medical Services Systems.
Should MIEMSS be unable to recover these
funds in rates, the Board of Public
Works may cancel the required repayment.
