budget each year as a contribution toward the cost of a
program of hospital, medical, and surgical insurance for
employees of the several departments, boards, bureaus,
commissions, and other agencies of the State government.

(B) EVERY EACH SURVIVING CHILD OF A DECEASED UNIFORMED
MARYLAND STATE POLICE EMPLOYEE WHO IS RECEIVING A PENSION
UNDER ARTICLE 88B OF THE CODE SHALL BE ELIGIBLE TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE PROGRAM OF HOSPITAL, MEDICAL, AND
SURGICAL INSURANCE UNTIL EVERY SAID CHILD DIES OR ATTAINS
THE AGE OF 18.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Neighborhood Housing Services Fund

FOR the purpose of clarifying that certain umbrella
corporations which create and supervise two or more
housing services programs are eligible for a grant for
each neighborhood housing services program supervised
within certain monetary limits and upon proper
application; defining certain terms; and relating
generally to the Neighborhood Housing Services Fund.
