MARYLAND, Sct.:
At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and
held in the City of Annapolis on the Thirteenth
Day of January, 1982, and Ending on the Twelfth
Day of April, 1982, Harry Hughes, being Governor
of the State, the following laws were enacted, to
wit:
CHAPTER 1
(Senate Bill 953 of 1981)
AN ACT concerning
Board of Public Works - AELR Committee
Review of Regulations
FOR the purpose of reenacting and reaffirming certain
provisions of Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1980 (SB 1036 of
1979) whereby the Board of Public Works was permitted
to adopt regulations, subject to the approval of the
AELR Committee of the General Assembly, by which State
departments, boards, commissions, or other agencies may
enter into capital project related contracts and change
orders prior to or without Board of Public Works
approval under certain conditions specified in the Act;
and of reaffirming the provisions of Chapter 2 of the
Acts of 1980 (SB 1037 of 1979) regarding approval of
leases, designation of location of agency, maximum rent
to be paid, application to certain leases, regulations
authorizing leases without approval, and State leasing
of office and building space.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 78A - Public Works
Section 7(a)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1980 Replacement Volume)

General Assembly of 1980)
