(e) The Secretary shall delay enforcement of those
regulations requiring display of the total cost for the
amount purchased on stationary, computing devices which
dispense gasoline, gasohol, kerosene or diesel fuel until
July 1, [1982] 1983 if:

(1) The business where the device is located did
not dispense more than 120,000 gallons of fuel in the year
preceding January 1, 1981;

(2) The business produces evidence to the
Secretary of the amount dispensed;

(3) The computing device is set to compute at
one half the price per gallon; and

(4) The pricing and information guidelines
established by the Secretary in the notice of May 31, 1979
are met.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Elections - Certificates of Candidacy and Petitions

FOR the purpose of providing a deadline for filing a
certificate of candidacy by petition; changing the
deadline for filing certain other certificates of
candidacy and petitions; providing for the filing, in
certain elections, of a declaration of intent by
certain candidates not later than a certain deadline;
providing penalties for certain acts; and generally
relating to the procedure relating to certificates of
candidacy and petitions.
