property. Work shall be performed during the summer months
only.

12-109.

The Governor shall provide sufficient funding for the
program in each fiscal year beginning June 1, [1980] 1982
through May 31, [1982] 1984. Each annual appropriation TO
THE EXTENT THAT FUNDS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE PROGRAM IN THE
STATE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEARS 1983 AND 1984, EACH ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION shall fund the program in ten communities.
However, each community shall assume 20 percent of the cost
of its share of the program.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982, contingent upon the
appropriation of sufficient funding in the State budget.

(House Bill 1476)

AN ACT concerning

Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities

FOR the purpose of redesignating the Assistant Secretary of
Mental Health and Addictions and the Mental Retardation

Administration to be, respectively, the Assistant

Secretary for Mental Health, Mental Retardation,

Addictions, and Developmental Disabilities and the

Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities

Administration to be the Assistant Secretary for Mental

Health, Mental Retardation, Addictions, and

Developmental Disabilities; redesignating the Mental
Retardation Administration to be the Mental Retardation
and Developmental Disabilities Administration; making
that Assistant Secretary responsible for that
Administration; requiring reports to that Assistant
Secretary; incorporating into the laws relating, to
mental retardation, certain provisions for nonretarded
developmentally disabled individuals; correcting
certain obsolete references; and making certain style
changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
