COMMISSIONERS, BUT IN THE AMOUNT OF AT LEAST $1,000, plus a
reasonable traveling and expense allowance. The cost of
these payments and all the administrative costs of the bingo
board shall be paid by the County Commissioners of Worcester
County from the proceeds paid to the County Commissioners
under the provisions of this section.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Minibikes - Regulation Registration by Local Authority

FOR the purpose of authorizing a local authority to regulate
the operation of minibikes on highways under the
jurisdiction of the local authority; authorizing a
local authority to require certain minibikes to be
registered; and authorizing a local authority to impose
a fee for registration of certain minibikes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

25-102.

(a) The provisions of the Maryland Vehicle Law do not
prevent a local authority, in the reasonable exercise of its
police power, from exercising the following powers as to
highways under its jurisdiction:

(1) Regulating or prohibiting the stopping,
standing, or parking of vehicles;
