(i) A masters or doctoral degree in
psychology, mental health, Counseling, personnel and
guidance, divinity, marriage and family therapy, or family
and community development from an accredited college or
university; and
(ii) At least 2 years' training or its
equivalent under the supervision of a regular member in good
standing of the association, a licensed [physician]
PHYSICIAN, or a licensed or certified psychologist.
16-301.
(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, an
individual shall be licensed by the Board before the
individual may practice psychology in this State.
(b) This section does not apply to:
(1) The activities and services of, and the use
of an official title by an individual employed by any agency
of the federal government, this State, or any political
subdivision of this State, or a chartered educational or
charitable institution while performing the duties of that
employment;
(2) The activities and services of a student,
intern, or resident while pursuing a supervised course of
study in psychology that the Board approves as qualifying
training and experience under this title;
(3) The activities and services of an individual
while performing psychological services under the direct
supervision of a [certified] LICENSED psychologist who takes
full responsibility for the activities and services
performed, if the supervised individual has graduated from
an accredited college or university with a master's degree
based on a program of studies whose content was primarily
psychological or a substantially equivalent program; and
(4) The activities and services of an individual
licensed or certified as a psychologist in any state who
recently has become a resident of this State and has an
application for [licensure or certification] A LICENSE, with
or without examination, pending before the Board.

(a) Subject to the provisions of this section, the
Board may waive any examination requirement of this title
for an individual who is licensed or certified as a
psychologist in any other state.
(b) The Board may grant a waiver under this section
only if the applicant:
