(d)  The parents or guardians who complete the
affidavit of disclosure shall attest to the truth of the
information in the affidavit by their signature which shall
be witnessed by the individuals designated by the County
Board under appropriate rules and regulations.

(e)  (1) Failure to complete the affidavit of
disclosure truthfully by a parent or guardian is a
misdemeanor.

(2) Any person who violates any provision of
this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is
subject to a fine not exceeding $250.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Special Registration Plates -
Maryland National Guard

FOR the purpose of permitting members of the Maryland
National Guard who own certain vehicles to apply to the
Motor Vehicle Administration for assignment of special
registration numbers to the vehicles; requiring
applicants to prove membership in the Maryland National
Guard; providing that no fees in addition to the annual
registration fee are required for the special
registration; providing for the issuance of special
registration plates to members of the Maryland National
Guard; prescribing the contents of the special plates;
and requiring a certain symbol to be displayed on the
plates.
