UNTIL THE MEMBER-ELECT OFFERS PROOF THAT HE IS NO LONGER
SUBJECT TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY BOARD.

[(b)] (C) The election of the county boards shall be
held as provided in Subtitles 2 through 10 of this title and
Article 33 of the Code.

3-301.

(b) [(1)] A candidate elected to the County Board
shall be a resident and registered voter of Carroll County.
Any member who no longer resides in Carroll County may not
continue as a member of the Board.

[(2) An individual subject to the authority of
the County Board may not be certified as a candidate.]

3-401.

(b) [(1)] An individual nominated for membership on
the County Board shall be a resident and registered voter of
Charles County. Any member who no longer resides in Charles
County or who is not a registered voter of Charles County
may not continue as a member of the Board.

[(2) An individual subject to the authority of
the County Board may not be certified as a candidate.]

3-4A-01.

(b) [(5) An individual who is subject to the authority
of the Board may not be a candidate.]

3-501.

(b) [(1)] A candidate elected to the County Board

continue as a member of the Board.

(c)  (1) The incumbent members of the Kent County Board
who hold office on July 1, 1978 shall hold office until
their successors are elected and qualify.
