(2)  A person may not designate a party
affiliation on a petition required by this section.

(3)  A person seeking candidacy shall designate
on the petition the commissioner district from which the
person seeks election, or designate that the person is
seeking election from the county at large.

(b)  A candidate shall disclose to the board of
supervisors of elections the information delineated in this
article that concerns campaign receipts and expenditures.
The board of supervisors of elections shall make the
disclosed information available to the public.

(c)  The board of supervisors of elections of Somerset
County shall establish procedures for the election of
members of the Board of Education, and if required for a
primary election, the board of supervisors of elections
shall place the names of all candidates on the ballot, with
no designation of party affiliation, in a manner to allow a
nonpartisan election.

(d)   If more than two candidates file for a particular
seat on the Board of Education, the board of supervisors of
elections shall hold a primary election at the same time as
the primary election for other elected officers. Only those
two persons who receive the greatest number of votes for a
particular seat shall be placed on the ballot for the
general election.

(e)  The candidate from each of the four commissioner
districts who receives the greatest number of votes cast
countywide shall be declared elected to the board from that
commissioner district. The candidate who receives the
greatest number of votes of any candidate seeking election
at large shall be declared elected to the board.]

[32-8.

(1)  Nomination for membership on the Board of
Education of Washington County except as otherwise herein
provided, shall be by petition endorsed by a minimum of 300
registered voters from Washington County, each such petition
shall be filed with the board of election supervisors of
Washington County not later than 4:00 p.m. on the Monday
which is 70 days before the day on which the general
election in November shall be held. Each such petition
filed shall be accompanied by a $25 filing fee. Except as
otherwise in this section provided, each such petition shall
conform generally to the laws and requirements of this
article.

(2)  The board of supervisors of elections shall
provide the means whereby all duly registered voters of
Washington County, irrespective of party affiliation, may
