FOR the purpose of allowing a person to use hand tongs only
to take or catch oysters in certain waters in Somerset
County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

4-1011.

(d) A person may [not use or employ any patent tongs
to] take or catch oysters BY HAND TONG ONLY [lying] in the
waters of Holland Straits lying within the territorial
limits of Somerset County. Holland Straits is that body of
water bound by a line, on the north or Tangier Sound side,
drawn from Lower Island Point to Sound Point and by a line,
on the south or Kedges Straits side, drawn from Pry Island
to the southern end of Holland Island.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages -
License Renewal - Leases

FOR the purpose of providing that a the Prince George's
County board of license commissioners may not require
an applicant for renewal of a license to hold a lease
on certain premises for the term of the license renewal
period except under certain circumstances.
