AN ACT concerning

Garrett County - Compensation for Livestock

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of County
Commissioners of Garrett County to prescribe the manner
for providing relief to the owner of livestock that is
destroyed or injured by dogs; and generally relating to
the manner for providing relief to the owners of
livestock that is destroyed or injured by dogs in
Garrett County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

198.

(J) IN GARRETT COUNTY, THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS SHALL PRESCRIBE BY ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION THE
MANNER IN WHICH THE POWERS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PLACED WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION AND CONTROL BY THIS SECTION
SHALL BE EXERCISED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
