AN ACT concerning

Charles County Heritage Commission

FOR the purpose of establishing the Charles County Heritage
Commission in the Department of Economic and Community
Development; providing for the composition of
membership in the Commission; providing for the term of
a member; providing for election of certain officers;
providing for meetings to be held as the Commission
determines; and providing that the Commission may
establish the position of curator and the office of
curator; and providing that the Commission may accept
funds, gifts, legacies, bequests, and endowments from
private sources for any purpose that is within the
jurisdiction of the Commission.

BY adding to

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 544 through 548; inclusive, to be under the new
subtitle "Charles County Heritage Commission"
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1978 Replacement Volume and 1981 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:
