AN ACT concerning

Maryland Department of Transportation -
Information Reporting and Annual Consultation Tour

FOR the purpose of requiring the Secretary of the Maryland
Department of Transportation to develop and adopt a
State Report on Transportation; requiring the Secretary
to submit a certain report to the General Assembly by a
certain date each year; providing for the contents of
the State Report on Transportation; requiring the
Department to conduct an annual consultation tour by a
certain date each year; defining terms; and clarifying
language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 1-101 and 2-103(e)

BY adding to

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Transportation

1-101.

(a) In this article the following words have the
meanings indicated.

(B) "ANNUAL CONSULTATION TOUR" MEANS THE DEPARTMENT'S
ANNUAL VISIT TO THE COUNTIES AND BALTIMORE CITY, AT WHICH
TIME THE DEPARTMENT PRESENTS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND LOCAL
LEGISLATIVE DELEGATIONS WITH INFORMATION ON THE PROPOSED
CONSOLIDATED TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM AND PROPOSED MARYLAND
