HARRY HUGHES, Governor

2449

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 29(b), (c), and (d)(1) — except as that
subsection related to annual renewal of permits.

The General Assembly may wish to clarify
subsection (b)(1) of this section. The
Commission to Revise the Annotated Code was
unable to give the word "legally" any meaningful
interpretation. The General Assembly, therefore,
may wish to consider either deleting "legally" or
adding language that clarifies what "legally"
means in this context.

11-103. TERM AND RENEWAL OF PERMITS.

A PERMIT EXPIRES ON THE JULY 1 AFTER ITS EFFECTIVE
DATE, UNLESS IT IS RENEWED FOR A 1-YEAR TERM.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 29(d)(1) -- as that subsection related to
annual renewal of permits.

The reference to permits expiring on July 1 is
new language added, in conformity to practice,
for clarity. Former Article 43, § 29(d)(1)
referred only to a permit being "annual".

11-104. DISPLAY OF PERMITS.

EACH PERMIT SHALL BE DISPLAYED CONSPICUOUSLY IN THE
FACILITY FOR WHICH IT IS ISSUED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 29(d)(2).

11-105. CLEANLINESS OF FACILITIES.

EACH PERMIT HOLDER SHALL KEEP IN A SANITARY CONDITION
THE FACILITY FOR WHICH THE PERMIT IS ISSUED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as
Article 43, § 29(d)(3).

The only changes are in style.

11-106. REQUIRED RECORDS.

(A) FORM AND CONTENT.

ON A FORM APPROVED BY THE SECRETARY, EACH PERMIT HOLDER
SHALL KEEP A RECORD OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FOR EACH
