(B)  PROHIBITION.

AFTER THE TIME SPECIFIED IN THE ORDER FOR ABATING THE
VIOLATION, A PERSON WHO IS SERVED WITH AN ORDER UNDER THIS
SECTION MAY NOT VIOLATE THAT ORDER.

(C)  MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY TO REMOVE OR READJUST
OBSTRUCTING STRUCTURE.

IF ANY PIPE OR CONDUIT LAID UNDER A PUBLIC HIGHWAY BY A
PERSON IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF ANY PERMIT ISSUED, OR
ANY PLAN APPROVED UNDER § 9-710 OF THIS SUBTITLE OBSTRUCTS
CONSTRUCTION OF ANY WATER MAIN, SEWER, OR DRAIN, THE
MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY SHALL REMOVE OR READJUST THE OBSTRUCTING
STRUCTURE.

(D)  COST OF CHANGES.

THE MUNICIPALITY SHALL PAY THE COST OF ANY NECESSARY
CHANGES MADE UNDER THIS SECTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first
sentence and the last clause of the fifth
sentence of former Article 43, § 420.

In subsection (a) of this section, the term
"structure" is substituted for "buildings,
conduits, pipes, tracks, or other physical
obstruction", for conciseness.

Also in subsection (a) of this section, the
former phrase "while in process of construction,
establishment, alteration or repair" is deleted
as unnecessary in light of the phrase "any work".

In subsection (a)(1) of this section, the phrase
"in control of" is substituted for "having", for
clarity.

In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the phrase
"within a time specified in the order" is
substituted for "promptly", for clarity.

In subsection (c) of this section, the term
"obstructs" is substituted for "interfere", for
consistency.

Also in subsection (c) of this section, the
former phrase "installed by said authorities" is
deleted as unnecessary.
