In this section, the defined term "system" is
substituted for "water supply, sewerage, drainage
and refuse disposal systems", for conciseness.

In item (4) of this section, the phrase "about
the construction, alteration, maintenance, or
operation of a system" is substituted for "with
respect to obtaining a supply of water or the
disposal of sewerage, drainage or refuse, or with
respect to any other matter necessary or
advisable for the proper and economical
construction, establishment, maintenance or
operation of a water supply, sewerage, drainage
or refuse disposal system",. for conciseness.

In item (5) of this section, the former term
"take" is deleted as included in the term
"acquire".

Also in item (5) of this section, the phrase "to
exercise any power set out in this subtitle" is
substituted for "for the construction,
establishment, extension, alteration, maintenance
or operation", for conciseness.

Also in item (5) of this section, the phrase "if
the owner objects" is substituted for "upon the
failure to agree" for clarity.

In item (6) of this section, the phrase
"necessary to carry out any activity under items
(1), (2), or (3) of this section" is substituted
for "necessary in the construction,
establishment, extension, alteration, maintenance
and operation", for conciseness.

In item (6)(iii) of this section, the phrase
"work on" is substituted for "construct or
repair", for conciseness.

Also in item (6)(iii) of this section, the phrase
"related equipment" is substituted for "any
appurtenance thereof", for clarity.

In item (7) of this section, the former phrase
"enforce compliance with such establishment" is
deleted as unnecessary.
