EACH SANITARY COMMISSION SHALL APPOINT A
SECRETARY-TREASURER.

(C) OTHER OFFICES.

IN A SINGLE COUNTY DISTRICT, A SANITARY COMMISSIONER
MAY NOT HOLD ANY OTHER OFFICE OF THE COUNTY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the second
paragraph of former Article 43, § 649(a)(2-2), the
last clause of the first sentence and the last
clause of the third sentence of (1), the last
clause of the first sentence of (2), the last
clause of the first sentence of (2-1)(i), and the
last clause of the first sentence of (2-3)(i) and
the first clause of the third sentence and the
first clause of the fifth sentence of (c).

9-625. QUORUM; COMPENSATION.

(A)  QUORUM.

UNLESS THE BYLAWS OF THE DISTRICT REQUIRE A LARGER
NUMBER, A MAJORITY OF THE FULL AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP OF THE
SANITARY COMMISSION IS A QUORUM.

(B) COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.
EACH SANITARY COMMISSIONER IS ENTITLED TO:

(1) COMPENSATION AS APPROVED AND PAID BY THE
GOVERNING BODY OF THE MEMBER COUNTY FROM WHICH APPOINTED;
AND

(2) REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES AS PROVIDED IN
THE DISTRICT'S BUDGET.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the third
paragraph of former Article 43, § 649(a)(2-2),
the second sentence and the last clause of the
first sentence of (b), and the first sentence of
(c).

9-626. DUTIES OF SECRETARY-TREASURER.

(A) RECEIPT OF REVENUES.

THE SECRETARY-TREASURER OF THE SANITARY COMMISSION
SHALL:

(1) COLLECT ALL CHARGES AND ASSESSMENTS MADE BY
THE DISTRICT;
