as obsolete.

9-503. SAME — INCORPORATING SUBSIDIARY PLANS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

(1)  COUNTY PLANS SHALL INCORPORATE ALL OR PART
OF SUBSIDIARY PLANS OF THE TOWNS, MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS,
SANITARY DISTRICTS, PRIVATELY OWNED FACILITIES, AND LOCAL,
STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES HAVING EXISTING, PLANNED OR
PROGRAMMED DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE COUNTY TO THE EXTENT THAT
THE INCLUSION PROMOTES' THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, AND
WELFARE.

(2)  COUNTY PLANS MAY INCORPORATE ALL OR PART OF
SUBSIDIARY PLANS COVERING MULTICOUNTY AREAS, IF THE
SUBSIDIARY PLANS ARE APPROVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY BY EACH
COUNTY CONCERNED.

(B)  SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR HARFORD COUNTY.

IF THE GOVERNING BODY OF HARFORD COUNTY DOES NOT
APPROVE AND INCORPORATE IN THE COUNTY PLAN ALL OR PART OF
THE SUBSIDIARY PLAN OF THE TOWNS, MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS,
AND SANITARY DISTRICTS IN THE COUNTY, THE GOVERNING BODY OF
THE COUNTY SHALL ADVISE THE" DEPARTMENT "IN WRITING OF THAT
FACT AND THE SPECIFIC REASONS FOR THAT FACT. ON THE REQUEST
OF EITHER THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE COUNTY OR THE TOWN,
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, OR SANITARY DISTRICT, THE DEPARTMENT
MAY ARBITRATE AND DETERMINE WHETHER TO APPROVE AND
INCORPORATE ALL OR PART OF THE SUBSIDIARY PLAN IN THE COUNTY
PLAN.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as
Article 43, § 387C(b)2.

9-504. SAME — CONTENTS REQUIRED BY RULES AND REGULATIONS
OF DEPARTMENT.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE RULES OR REGULATIONS
ADOPTED BY THE DEPARTMENT UNDER § 9-506 OF THIS SUBTITLE,
EACH COUNTY PLAN SHALL DELINEATE THOSE AREAS WHERE:

(1)  COMMUNITY WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS MUST BE
PROVIDED;

(2)  MULTIUSE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS MAY BE
INSTALLED;
