8-204. MEETINGS; COMPENSATION; STAFF.

(A)  MEETINGS.

THE BOARD SHALL DETERMINE THE TIMES AND PLACES OF ITS
MEETINGS.

(B)  COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.
A MEMBER OF THE BOARD:

(1)  MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION; BUT

(2)  IS ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES
UNDER THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS, AS PROVIDED IN
THE STATE BUDGET.

(C)  STAFF.

THE DEPARTMENT SHALL PROVIDE THE BOARD WITH NEEDED
STAFF ASSISTANCE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 686(c) and (d).

Subsection (a) of this section is new language
added for clarity.

In subsection (b)(2) of this section, the former
reference to "necessary and proper expenses
incurred in connection with their membership and
duties on the Advisory Board" is deleted as
unnecessary since the Standard State Travel
Regulations limit reimbursement to expenses
incurred on official business.

Also as to subsection (b) of this section,
Standard State Travel Regulations are adopted by
the Department of Personnel with the approval of
the Board of Public Works.

In subsection (c) of this section, the former
reference to "secretarial and other staff
assistance" is deleted as included in the term
"staff".

8-205. DUTIES OF BOARD.

THE BOARD SHALL:
