(3) SUBMITS TO THE SECRETARY A RENEWAL
APPLICATION ON THE FORM THAT THE SECRETARY REQUIRES.

(D)  ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE SECRETARY SHALL RENEW THE LICENSE OF EACH LICENSEE
WHO MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.

(E)  NONTRANSFERABILITY.

A LICENSE IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) and (e) of this section
are new language derived without substantive
change from the second sentence of former Article
43, § 220.

Subsection (b) of this section, which provides
for renewal notice, is new language added to
conform to current practice and to similar
provisions governing other licenses in former
Article 43.

Subsection (c) of this section, which provides
for renewal procedure, is new language added to
conform to current practice and to conform to
similar provisions governing other licenses in
former Article 43.

Subsection (d) of this section, which requires
the Secretary to renew licenses of qualified
licensees, is new language added to express the
formerly only implied duty of the Secretary to
renew the license of a currently qualified
licensee.

4-713. NOTICE OF VIOLATION.

IF THE SECRETARY FINDS THAT A CRAB MEAT PLANT, IS IN
VIOLATION OF THIS SUBTITLE OR ANY RULE OR REGULATION ADOPTED
UNDER THIS SUBTITLE, THE SECRETARY SHALL NOTIFY THE LICENSEE
IN WRITING:

(1)  OF THE NATURE OF THE VIOLATION;

(2)  OF A DATE BY WHICH THE LICENSEE SHALL
CORRECT THE DEFICIENCIES SPECIFIED IN THE NOTICE; AND

(3)  THAT IF THE LICENSEE FAILS TO CORRECT THE
CONDITIONS BY THE DATE SPECIFIED, THE LICENSE MAY BE
REVOKED.
