4-308. INSPECTIONS.

BEFORE ISSUING A LICENSE, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL INSPECT
THE MANUFACTURING PLANT IDENTIFIED IN THE APPLICATION TO
DETERMINE WHETHER THE PLANT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A
LICENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language added to
make express what formerly was only implied in
the fifth sentence of former Article 43, § 162 —
that the Department shall inspect the
manufacturing plant before issuing a license.

4-309. ISSUANCE AND CONTENTS OF LICENSE.

(A)  ISSUANCE.

THE DEPARTMENT SHALL ISSUE A LICENSE TO ANY APPLICANT
WHO MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SUBTITLE.

(B)  CONTENTS OF LICENSE.
THE DEPARTMENT SHALL:

(1)  NUMBER EACH LICENSE; AND

(2)  INCLUDE ON THE LICENSE:

(I)  THE NAME OF THE LICENSEE; AND

(II)  THE ADDRESS OF THE MANUFACTURING
PLANT FOR WHICH THE LICENSE IS ISSUED.

of the third sentence of former Article 43, § 162
and the first clause of the first sentence of §
166.

4-310. SCOPE OF LICENSES.

WHILE IT IS EFFECTIVE, A LICENSE AUTHORIZES THE
LICENSEE TO MANUFACTURE SOFT DRINKS AT THE MANUFACTURING
PLANT IDENTIFIED IN THE LICENSE.

4-311. DISPLAY OF LICENSES.
