without substantive change from former Article
43, § 691(f).

This subsection is intended to be read with the
definition of "person" in § 1-101 of this
article. Therefore, the former reference to "any
individual, group of individuals, firm,
partnership, voluntary association, or private
... corporation" is deleted as unnecessary.

The former qualifying language "responsible for
the use of property" is deleted as unnecessary.

(G) POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.

"POLITICAL SUBDIVISION" MEANS A COUNTY OR MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION OF THIS STATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added

"SOURCE" MEANS ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY THAT CONTRIBUTES
TO AIR POLLUTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly appeared as
Article 43, § 691(g).

The words "real or personal", which formerly
modified "property", are deleted as unnecessary.

The only other changes are in style.

REVISOR'S NOTE TO SECTION: Former Article 43, § 691(b),
which defined "Board" and "Department" to mean
the State Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene, is deleted as obsolete.

Former Article 43, § 691(d), which defined
"Department", is deleted in light of the
definition of "Department" in § 1-101 of this
article.

Former Article 43, § 691(i), which defined
