(3) In Charles and Prince George's counties, all
additional fees the county treasurer collects under this
section shall be placed in a general fund of the county, to
be disbursed by the county treasurer from the fund as he
considers necessary to cover the expense of the sale of
registration plates, with the balance to be used for general
fund purposes.

(5) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, ALL ADDITIONAL FEES
THE COUNTY TREASURER COLLECTS UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL BE
PAID TO THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY AND
PLACED IN A GENERAL FUND OF THE COUNTY, TO BE USED AS THE
COUNTY GOVERNMENT DIRECTS.
(g) (1) Each county treasurer may collect an
additional fee of 10 cents for each vehicle he registers, if
the additional fee is authorized by the county government.
All fees collected under this paragraph shall be remitted to
the general funds of the county.
(2) The County Treasurer of Harford County may
collect an additional fee of $1 for each vehicle he
registers, which shall be remitted to the county for use as
a special highway and road improvement fund.
(3) The County Treasurer of Montgomery County
may collect a fee of up to $1 for each vehicle he registers,
which shall be placed in the general fund of the county, to
be disbursed by the County Treasurer as he considers
necessary to cover the expense of the sale of registration
plates, with the balance to be used for general fund
purposes.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982 1983.
