where dedication would be impractical. THE COMMISSIONERS
SHALL ESTABLISH THE MONETARY FEE BY RESOLUTION ON A PER UNIT
OR PER LOT BASIS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Harford County -
Mary Risteau State Office Building

FOR the purpose of naming the State office building in
Harford County in honor of Mary E. W. Risteau, the
first woman to serve in the Maryland General Assembly.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the State office building in Harford County,
scheduled for completion in 1983, shall be named in honor of
Mary E. W. Risteau to commemorate her service as a Delegate
and Senator from Harford County from 1922 through 1937 and
her distinction as the first woman to serve in the General
Assembly of Maryland.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
