(I) MAY BE DIRECTED BY RESOLUTION OF THE
COUNTY COUNCIL TO RECEIVE $10 FOR EVERY LICENSE ISSUED;
AND
(II) (2) THE CLERK SHALL REMIT THE
PROCEEDS OF THIS ADDITIONAL FEE MONTHLY TO THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE OF HOWARD COUNTY.
(2) (3) THE PROCEEDS SHALL BE USED IN FUNDING ,
IN ADDITION TO DESIGNATED FEDERAL, STATE, AND COUNTY FUNDS,
TO FUND BATTERED SPOUSE SHELTERS AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
PROGRAMS AS PROVIDED UNDER ARTICLE 88A, §§ 101 THROUGH 105
OF THIS CODE.
(3) (4) THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE SHALL PREPARE AN
ANNUAL REPORT ON THE DISPOSITION OF FEES COLLECTED UNDER
THIS ARTICLE. THE REPORT SHALL BE AVAILABLE BY DECEMBER 1
AFTER THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR BEING REPORTED.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning
State Board of Waterworks and Waste Systems Operators
FOR the purpose of permitting the State Board of Waterworks
and Waste Systems Operators to set certain reasonable
fees for the issuance and renewal of certificates and
its other services; permitting the Board to pay certain
expenses; and requiring the Board to pay all funds
collected under this section into the General Fund of
the State.
