AN ACT concerning

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission
and Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission -
Recording Fees
PG/MC 23-82

FOR the purpose of exempting the Maryland-National Capital
Park and Planning Commission and the Washington
Suburban Sanitary Commission from the payment of
certain recording fees.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

3-603.

The clerk may not charge any county, THE
MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION, OR
THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANITARY COMMISSION any fee provided
by this subtitle unless the county OR RESPECTIVE COMMISSION
first gives its consent. No charge may be made against the
comptroller for any service performed in connection with the
recording and indexing of property liens arising under the
Maryland Income Tax Law, the Maryland Retail Sales Act, or
Maryland Use Tax Act.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
