providing that this Act does not affect incumbent
election judges and chief judges; and providing for the
effective date of this Act.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 33 - Election Code

Section 2-7(f)(4)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 33 - Election Code

2-7.

(f) (4) In Prince George's County, judges shall be
paid [$75] $100 per day for two chief judges and [$50] $75
per day for judges, for each election day actually served.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salaries of
the election judges and chief judges of Prince George's
County in office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act concerning the salaries of the
election judges and chief judges of Prince George's County
shall take effect at the beginning of the next following
term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1982.

electricians and plumbers.
