(B) In Allegany, Baltimore, Caroline, Cecil,
Dorchester, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and
Washington counties, and in Baltimore City, said clerks
shall be paid an additional two dollars for every license
and shall remit monthly the proceeds of said additional fee
to the county treasurer of their respective counties at the
end of every month for use as general funds of said county;
except that the clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of
Baltimore City shall remit and shall include the proceeds of
the additional fee in his annual return to the State
Comptroller of all his fees, emoluments and receipts under
the provisions of § 2-205 of the Courts Article of the Code.
(B) (C) (1) IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, IN ADDITION TO ALL
OTHER FEES IMPOSED UNDER THIS ARTICLE, THE CLERK OF THE
COURT SHALL MAY BE DIRECTED BY RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY
COUNCIL TO RECEIVE $10 FOR EVERY LICENSE ISSUED, AND.
(2) THE CLERK SHALL REMIT THE PROCEEDS OF THIS
ADDITIONAL FEE MONTHLY TO THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE OF
BALTIMORE COUNTY.
(3) THE PROCEEDS SHALL BE USED, IN ADDITION TO
DESIGNATED FEDERAL, STATE, AND COUNTY FUNDS, TO FUND
BATTERED SPOUSE SHELTERS AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAMS AS
PROVIDED UNDER ARTICLE 88A, § 101 THROUGH 105 OF THIS CODE.
(4) THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE SHALL PREPARE AN ANNUAL
REPORT ON THE DISPOSITION OF FEES COLLECTED UNDER THIS
ARTICLE. THE REPORT SHALL BE AVAILABLE NO LATER THAN
DECEMBER 1 SUBSEQUENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR BEING REPORTED.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

FOR the purpose of exempting savings accounts opened to
obtain free checking services with the same banking
organization from the category of property presumed to
be abandoned; and clarifying language and structure.
