Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

Section 412(b)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1980 Replacement Volume and 1981 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

412.

(b) The term "commercial motor vehicle" means a
passenger vehicle that has seats for more than 14 passengers
in addition to the driver and for the operation of which a
permit is required by the public service commission, or any
road tractor, or any truck-tractor or any truck" having more
than two axles, OR ANY TRUCK TOWING FOR A COMMERCIAL
PURPOSE, A FREIGHT TRAILER OR SEMITRAILER AS DEFINED UNDER §
13-927(C) OF THE TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE; which commercial
motor vehicle is propelled by motor fuel.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Pharmacists - Licenses - Examination Fee - License
Renewal - Reinstatement of Expired Licenses

FOR the purpose of requiring applicants for a license to
practice pharmacy to pay an examination a fee; allowing
the State Board of Pharmacy to set this examination
setting this fee in a certain amount; allowing the
State Board of Pharmacy to renew pharmacy licenses in
certain years; providing an intent of the General
Assembly in enacting this Act; allowing the State Board
of Pharmacy to adopt rules and regulations to implement
the transition provisions of this Act; and allowing the
State Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules and regulations
to govern the reinstatement of a pharmacy license; and
providing for the continuation of certain provisions of
governing renewal and reinstatement of licenses.
